Where the data comes from

Every number on this site comes from USCIS's public processing-time tools. We do not estimate, model, or adjust the times: we publish what USCIS publishes, stamped with the exact capture date.

We capture current data for every form and office once a week and archive every capture. The latest capture is from October 19, 2026; the archive holds 11 snapshot(s).

What the current time means

USCIS calculates the current time as the time in which it completed 80% of adjudicated cases over the past six months. It is a reference point, not a promise for a specific case.

Where USCIS shows a range, we show that same range. The inquiry date is the receipt-date cutoff USCIS publishes for accepting a formal case inquiry.

Why we archive weekly

USCIS does not publish detailed office-level history. Arrive Legal archives every weekly capture to show how each form changes at each office. Weekly trend charts are drawn exclusively from that archive.

National historical medians

USCIS also publishes cumulative national medians by fiscal year for select forms. They show the time needed to complete half of finished cases and are not directly comparable with the current office-level 80% time.

We preserve each publication with its source date because USCIS may revise historical values. We never use these medians to decide whether a case can submit an inquiry.

Arrive Legal is an independent information service. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and we are not affiliated with USCIS or any government agency.

Separate historical layers

Office charts use only exact form, office, and category matches: the licensed historical compilation, followed by Arrive Legal's dated captures. Missing dates are marked and never interpolated. Historical data compilation: ImmigrationTimes.org (CC BY 4.0)

The separate USCIS national medians are fiscal-year, 50th-percentile products. We do not compare them as though they were the office-level, 80th-percentile trend values, and they never determine alerts or inquiry dates.

How we publish findings

• We compare the same form, category, and office across dated captures.
• We keep Arrive Legal captures separate from licensed history and disclose missing dates.
• We date conclusions, link the downloadable data, and revise analysis when the source changes.
